‘Huge game… thriller’ – Alan Brazil & Ray Parlour predict result in West Brom clash v Sheff U

Alan Brazil has said the game between West Brom and Sheffield United is a “huge” game and he thinks it could be a 3-3 “thriller”.

Ray Parlour has also gone for a draw in the game that’s already being talked about as a six-pointer at the bottom of the Premier League.

Talking on the Breakfast show (talkSPORT, Friday, 8am), Brazil said, “West Brom v Sheffield United. Huge game. Who do we fancy?”

“I’ve gone for a draw,” Parlour replied.

“You just don’t know, it might be a 3-3 thriller,” said Brazil. “If you’re Slaven Bilic this is a must-win, three points is a must surely?”

“Yes, definitely. They were unlucky against Man United. They’ve shown signs at home, that famous game against Chelsea. I’ve gone for a draw.”

Three points a must

It’s bottom against second from bottom, which is a depressing thing to have to write after nine games in the Premier League.

However, West Brom have three times as many points as the Blades, who are in terrible form.

We think this is a must-win. If West Brom can win they can move out of the bottom three and take a huge amount of pressure off themselves.

Lose and they’ll go bottom.

Goals are the issue for both sides – which makes Brazil 3-3 prediction a long-shot – but again West Brom have the edge.

Sheffield United have only scored four goals, the lowest number of any team in the four leagues in England.

It’s a shocking statistic but the Baggies aren’t much better with six. That needs to change and a home tie against Sheffield United is the perfect opportunity.

We’re going for an easy 2-0 win.
