West Brom finally got their first Premier League win of the season against Sheffield United on Saturday evening.
Conor Gallagher got the winner in the first half, but it could and probably should have been much more at the Hawthorns.
Slaven Bilic made one change to his side, bringing back in Callum Robinson for Grady Diangana from the Manchester United defeat.
That meant that Matheus Pereira continued in central midfield.
It certainly worked, once again and it brings forward the question, why haven’t the Baggies and Bilic been doing this all season?
Pereira tormented the Blades at times and continued to prove why nights like the Fulham clash were easy to forgive and forget.
The only downside of his game was those miserable short corners, once those are locked away and never used again – the better.
Many West Brom fans have reacted to the performance of Pereira, and understandably, they were blown away by what they saw from the Brazilian.
The majority claimed they would be happy to what the playmaker every minute of the day when he is at his best on the ball going forward.
