Matheus Pereira picks out favourite West Brom moment during Instagram Q&A
West Brom playmaker Matheus Pereira has become a Hawthorns hero during his 18 months at the club.
After guiding the Baggies back to the Premier League, the Brazilian has finally started to look back to his best after a tough period last month.
Pereira was phenomenal in the 1-0 win over Sheffield United, as Slaven Bilic finally played him more centrally after weeks of fan demands.
What has been his favourite moment with the Albion though?
There are many to choose from, with promotion and the celebrations something that instantly springs to mind.
Pereira has recently completed a Q&A session on his personal Instagram account and has picked out two different moments.
The first was as simple as the day he permanently signed on the dotted line at the Hawthorns, deservedly earning his contract after his loan move.
The second was a goal, and somewhat surprisingly he selected the free-kick away at Queens Park Rangers last season despite having much better since including that scorcher against Everton.
Pereira had one of his lowest moments in the Fulham clash last month, storming off when being replaced in the 2-0 defeat.
Since then, he has been superb.
The 24-year-old assisted nine shots against the Blades according to WyScout – he had only managed eight altogether in the opening eight games.
That just proves he is getting back to his best, and we can expect Pereira to start making even better memories in the Premier League, hopefully for many years to come.
