‘Massively out of his depth’ – Many West Brom fans blast ‘rubbish’ player v Palace

West Brom fans were left unimpressed with Karlan Grant after he failed to score again as the Baggies lost 5-1 to Crystal Palace.

Braces from Wilfred Zaha and Christian Benteke came after an early Darnell Furlong own goal with Conor Gallagher’s strike proving to be a consolation.

To add insult to injury Matheus Pereira was controversially sent off in the first half after the referee consulted with VAR.

But the VAR controversy didn’t take any of the flack off Grant who is struggling for goals and at the moment, costing his side points.

The 23-year-old was isolated against the Palace defence but when he did get the ball he often produced very little.

Grant has now gone five games without a goal and that is frankly not good enough as he was brought in to score the goals that will keep Albion in the Premier League.

Many Albion fans have stated that they would prefer Robinson or Hal Robson-Kanu to start over Grant following the former Huddersfield man’s poor recent performances.

Here is how some West Brom fans reacted to Grant’s performance on social media.

Grant’s poor showing leaves Slaven Bilic with a huge decision to make ahead of the Baggies’ next game as currently, the summer signing is offering nothing.
