Hollywood actor and West Brom fan Matthew Marsden has suggested that Albion should’ve walked off the pitch during Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace.
The Baggies lost 5-1 at The Hawthorns as braces from Christian Benteke and Wilfred Zaha followed a Darnell Furlong own goal with Conor Gallagher’s strike proving to be a consolation.
The most controversial moment of the match was when Matheus Pereira was sent off for kicking out at Patrick van Aanholt.
The referee initially gave a yellow card for the challenge but after consulting with VAR the punishment was upgraded to a red card.
On Twitter, Marsden replied to a tweet about the incident from former Baggies player Kevin Donovan and suggested a radical course of action.
The Rambo actor tweeted, “Honestly I feel like they should walk off the pitch. This is clear bias.”

The red card was harsh as Pereira was falling down and it certainly didn’t seem like the Brazilian was trying to hurt the Palace defender.
This red card means Pereira will miss Albion’s next three games against Newcastle United, Manchester City and Aston Villa.
It was the second time the Baggies have been at the centre of a VAR controversy in recent weeks after the decision was taken to overturn an Albion penalty at Old Trafford in November.
Every club has VAR decisions go against them but Baggies fans are yet to feel the benefit of VAR since they returned to the Premier League.
Walking off the pitch seems to be an extreme course of action but something does need to be done as it seems that if a referee is told to look at the pitchside monitor a decision has already been made.
