West Brom confirm plans for fans to return to Hawthorns in Aston Villa clash
West Brom have confirmed plans for Baggies fans to return to the Hawthorns for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
The Midlands are currently in Tier 3, but they are expected to follow suit of other areas by dropping to Tier 2 through the week.
Should that happen, the Albion will be able to welcome 2,000 fans for home games in the foreseeable future in the Premier League.
West Brom have confirmed their plans on their website this afternoon.
A ballot has now been opened for fans who have owned season tickets in the past two seasons in the Championship and the Premier League.
Tickets will be priced at £23 and lower based on which category you are in, and all fans will be placed in the East Stand.
It is confirmed that fans will be selected at random, in what would be a massive boost ahead of this big Midlands derby.
With many not holding much hope against Manchester City on Tuesday, the clash with Villa could be a massive opportunity to get three points.
At certain points this season, West Brom have been crying out for fans and that motivation in tight games against the likes of Spurs and Sheffield United.
When pushing for the goal to go ahead against Palace before Matheus Pereira’s sending off, some outside noise and motivation could have been perfect.
With Villa starting the season superbly, we can’t let them come and dominate proceedings, and having 2,000 fans present would be perfect.
