‘Knackered’, ‘Headless chicken’ – Many West Brom fans blast ‘Useless’ player v City
Jake Livermore was heavily criticised by West Brom fans during his side’s game against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The Albion captain started at The Etihad alongside Romaine Sawyers and Conor Gallagher in the Baggies midfield but failed to impress.
It was an evening to forget for Livermore and his performance may see him dropped to the bench for the Baggies’ weekend game against Aston Villa.
During a game where Albion needed every player to be at their best, Livermore made countless errors and failed to show why he should be starting matches.
In the second half, there was a short period where Livermore gave the ball away needlessly multiple times which drew a wave of criticism from Baggies fans.
One fan thought the club captain was ‘leggy’ while others wondered why he wasn’t substituted for Filip Krovinovic.
Here is how some Baggies reacted to Livermore’s performance.
Livermore will be lucky to start against the Villians at the weekend with Sawyers and Gallagher in such good form and he can’t complain if he is dropped.
