Darren Moore shares significant update on Rayhaan Tulloch & WBA loan status
Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Moore has shared a significant update on West Brom youngster Rayhaan Tulloch.
The 19-year-old has been out injured since September and has been completing his rehabilitation back at the Hawthorns ever since.
Moore has confirmed that Tulloch will be having a scan in the next fortnight, and positive news could see him return to Doncaster in January to complete his season-long loan.
Speaking to the72 after Rovers’ 1-0 defeat against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday evening in South Yorkshire, Moore confirmed the update.
“He’s got a scan in the next 10 days, I think by the 31st of December or the 1st of January,” he said.
“Hopefully that scan will reveal that they’re happy. They just want to make sure before he returns back, so hopefully, on that one, we’ll get the thumbs up.”
After featuring for the Baggies in the FA Cup last season, Tulloch finally got the opportunity to earn senior football consistently in this campaign with Doncaster.
The 19-year-old suffered a huge blow with this injury, and we’re hoping that he can get back to Yorkshire and show what he can do in League One.
Tulloch only completed 88 minutes of this season before suffering the injury and will be raring to get back into the action under Moore.
Is Doncaster the right place?
Definitely. Rovers are currently fourth in League One and are fighting among the best for promotion back to the Championship.
With only a two-point gap to the leaders Portsmouth, having Tulloch back available for them could be a huge boost, something that the youngster desperately needs after this big injury.
