‘He should be sold’, ‘Passenger’ – Many West Brom fans blast ‘awful’ player v Liverpool
West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers has been heavily criticised by Baggies fans for his poor performance against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Sawyers struggled throughout the game and many fans were left unimpressed with the 29-year-old’s passing ability.
The Baggies did their best to stay in the game at Anfield and the defence did a decent job of keeping the Reds’ talented attack quiet.
Sawyers failed to impress or help his side out at the back as he was a wasted shirt in the Albion midfield.
The midfielder has had some good performances this season but he doesn’t seem able to perform consistently.
Decent showings against Manchester United and Sheffield United haven’t been followed up as the decision to not play Sawyers earlier in the season looks to have been a good call from former boss Slaven Bilic.
Some Baggies fans took to social media to criticise Sawyers with one declaring that they wanted the midfielder sold as soon as possible.
Several others were critical of his general play as he was dubbed as one of Albion’s worst ever players by one disgruntled fan.
Here is how some West Brom fans reacted to Sawyers’ performance.

Sawyers’ performance won’t have convinced Sam Allardyce that he is worth keeping in the side as the new Baggies boss continues to work out who his better players are.
In other West Brom news, this Albion loanee’s had his temporary contract terminated.
