Many West Brom fans have blasted Grady Diangana’s poor performance against Leeds United on Tuesday evening. 

The Baggies started badly and were trailing 4-0 at half time to last season’s fellow automatic promotion winners.

Diangana didn’t help matters as he missed a glorious chance to reduce the deficit in the second half but he could only fire his close-range effort straight at Illan Meslier.

Once again the Albion attack struggled but on this occasion, they weren’t up against last season’s champions Liverpool, they were up against the worst defence in the league.

Diangana struggled to create any meaningful chances before he was substituted off in the second half making way for Filip Krovinovic.

No Baggies player performed well but Diangana has largely disappointed this season since he arrived at The Hawthorns on a permanent deal and some of that frustration boiled over on social media.

The former West Ham man only has one goal in 13 Premier League appearances for Albion and he is yet to pick up an assist.

Baggies fans were expecting a player who could create something from nothing and help their side avoid relegation this season.

Instead, Diangana has created very little and has not been worth the sizable fee that Albion shelled out for last season’s star man.

Some Baggies fans grew frustrated at the winger as he picked up the ball in the second half before simply falling over.
