‘Good luck at WBA’, ‘Gutted’, ‘Don’t go’ – Many rival fans react as player drops huge exit hint
West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass has been strongly linked with a move to West Brom and he appeared to drop a big hint that he was leaving on Wednesday evening.
He replied to a tweet from a fan saying, “I’m not crying, you are. Thanks for all the memories” with a heartfelt, “Last thing I needed to see at this time.”
Snodgrass added a crying emoji to his post.
West Ham fans certainly think he’s on the move and plenty of them lined up to try to get him to change his mind and pay their respects to a much-loved player.
Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that West Brom are in advanced talks to sign the former Scotland international.
And he could bring just the right amount of grit, experience and skill to make a difference to the Baggies.
The 33-year-old has won 28 caps for his country and scored 98 goals across just over 500 games in a storied career.
If any West Brom fans have any doubt, these posts from West Ham fans should give them more confidence that Snodgrass could be a very good signing for Big Sam…
