‘More like it’, ‘Get him in’ – Some West Brom fans thrilled by transfer update on ‘Baggies fan’

West Brom are being linked with a loan move for Leicester’s Demarai Gray, and he is an appealing target for Baggies fans.

One of the reasons why is because he is rumoured to be one of their own, a West Brom fan, but he could also bolster Sam Allardyce’s options significantly.

Robert Snodgrass also looks set to join the club, and the pair could add some much-need creativity to a side that has scored only 11 league goals in 17 games.

Gray has found game time difficult to come by under Brendan Rodgers, having played just twice, so he could be keen to kick-start his season.

As a fan Gray should be determined to help West Brom ward off relegation, and as a professional the 24-year-old could use the opportunity to earn back his place at the King Power stadium.

He signed for the Foxes for £3.7million in 2016 after being highly-rated at Birmingham, and Albion fans like what they see.

That may be unsurprising given the lack of form of their current wingers.

A WhoScored average rating of 6.4 for Grady Diangana is the highest of any winger in the squad, and that alone paints a sorry picture.

Here is a selection of tweets from West Brom supporters who would like to see Gray join this month.

In other West Brom news, there has been a significant development in a move for another Big Sam target.
