Club boss confirms West Brom loanee’s deal will be terminated this month

Doncaster Rovers will terminate the loan of West Brom winger Rayhaan Tulloch this month with the 19-year-old only making two appearances so far this season.

Tulloch has been out of action since mid-September after picking up a hamstring injury and former Baggies coach Darren Moore isn’t keen to keep the youngster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Moore, speaking on Thursday afternoon, said that Tulloch’s loan will be terminated in the near future.

Journalist Liam Hoden tweeted on Thursday, “Darren Moore confirms that Rayhaan Tulloch’s loan from West Brom will be terminated.”

It is a shame that Tulloch’s loan spell hasn’t worked out but it makes sense for Rovers to look after themselves and it serves them no purpose to have an injured loanee winger on their books.

Unfortunately, Tulloch returns to West Brom with no real experience under his belt, making his loan spell a complete failure.

Tulloch started well in his first Rovers appearances as he registered an assist in a 1-1 draw with MK Dons.

In the following game against Charlton, the winger was withdrawn early in the match after picking up a knock and he hasn’t played since.

A recent report from the Doncaster Free Press claimed that a scan on Tulloch’s injury had returned positive results amid hopes that he could get his loan spell back on track.

Moore seems to have decided to just cut his losses with Tulloch however as Albion now need to decide what to do with their young prospect.

If his injury isn’t too severe then he could be loaned out to another club this January which would give Tulloch another chance to shine.

But, if his injury will keep him sidelined then this season could just be a write off for Tulloch as he may have to focus on getting ready for next year.
