West Brom want another new signing in time for Wolves clash – report
West Brom are hoping to have another new signing to call on for this weekend’s game against Wolves, according to Birmingham Live.
The Baggies have already signed Robert Snodgrass and Andy Lonergan this month with Sam Allardyce looking to bring in plenty of new faces to aid in his club’s relegation fight.
New players are needed and they are needed soon as this new report shares the Baggies’ hopeful timescale to get another deal done.
Birmingham Live report that the club want to have another new face among the Albion ranks for the trip to Molineux this weekend.
Just who that player may be is up for debate with the club linked with several players over the last few days.
In the early days of this week there are no reports to suggest that the club are close to signing any new players.
Of course, things can change quickly in football and once a fee is agreed a deal can be wrapped up in a very short space of time.
French midfielder Clement Grenier seems to be the most likely candidate to next arrive at The Hawthorns with journalist Alan Nixon claiming that he would be able to move for free this month.
This is a deal that suits the Baggies financially and it could be completed relatively quickly if both clubs and the player are open to a move.
With the Baggies linked with so many players already and the potential to improve all areas of the pitch, it is incredibly hard to predict who may be the next new arrival.
Realistically it doesn’t matter who this mystery player is as long as they will improve this Albion side that desperately needs to start picking up points.
In other West Brom news, fans want Albion to “get rid” of this player after his shocker against Blackpool.
