West Brom finally got their second win of the Premier League season against Wolves in the best possible manner at Molineux.
In the first Black Country Derby in nine years, the Dingles were far too confident before kick-off before the Baggies returned home with a 3-2 victory.
Sam Allardyce did it without some of his best players, with Conor Gallagher suspended, and Sam Johnstone missing out through COVID.
Gallagher’s suspension led to Romaine Sawyers being selected once again.
This just proves how desperate the Albion will be to bring in another midfielder during this month, with the boyhood Baggies fan simply shocking again.
Sawyers’ main attribute is meant to be his passing, but he only completed 73.8% of his attempted balls according to WhoScored.
On top of this, the 29-year-old only made one tackle and failed to register a single interception, clearance or block.
Kyle Bartley destroyed Sawyers for his role in nearly allowing Wolves a chance to equalise, and he isn’t the only one who has taken aim at the midfielder.
Many West Brom fans have destroyed Sawyers on social media after the game, claiming he shows no passion or fight despite his affiliation with the club.
The majority of those fans have called for the midfielder to be sold, sooner rather than later, as he continues to be a liability.
