Wolves are still suffering from the aftereffects of the Black Country derby defeat against West Brom on Saturday, it appears.

The Baggies left Molineux with a 3-2 victory, and Wolves will now travel to non-league Chorley in the FA Cup on Friday evening.

It appears as though Chorley have taken sides with the Albion, tweeting they will get their players to Boing Boing should they win.

Chorley have since deleted that tweet.

When explaining that decision, they claimed that they had appeared to have angered the majority of the Wolves fanbase with their words.

Really? This is the biggest game in Chorley’s history, and they are unlikely to face another Premier League side in a competitive fixture for years, but yet here Wolves are, still crying over the weekend’s events.

It doesn’t surprise us, but we thought many fanbases could take banter in the modern-day, they would have done the same if they had held on for the three points at Molineux.

As if the three points on Saturday weren’t enough, we now get to watch the slow meltdown of the Wolves fanbase all over again a few days later.

West Brom

Many West Brom fans have reacted to the tweet from Chorley, and taken aim at our local rivals for their “embarrassing” replies.

The majority have called for the official Baggies account to share their support for the non-league side to help with their virtual ticket campaign which could hand them valuable funds.
