It has been made no secret that West Brom and Sam Allardyce have been looking for a striker in this January transfer window.
Big Sam admitted recently that the Baggies have scouted over 250 players this month, but no reinforcements have arrived in the final third.
Numerous strikers have been linked, and one was surprisingly linked during BT Sport’s coverage of the game against West Ham – Haris Seferovic.
Joseph Masi has shared a further update on Wednesday, claiming that the Albion are exploring a loan move for the Swiss international.
It is suggested that Benfica need to sell players this month, but the Baggies can only seal an initial loan switch with an obligation added.
The 28-year-old has scored seven goals and added three assists in his 650 minutes of league action this season – averaging an involvement every 65 minutes.
Seferovic appears to be one for the big occasions, recently setting up a goal against fierce rivals Porto over the weekend.
Many West Brom fans have reacted to the reported interest in the striker, and the majority appear to be split on him arriving at The Hawthorns.
Some were delighted, but others claimed that he was an average player who may struggle to adapt in the Premier League, especially in a relegation battle.

I don’t rate him highly but he scores goals. I think he’s got like a goal scored every 84 minutes this season or something, just not sure if he would keep it up in Premier League though…

he looks like a good player 7 goals and 3 assists in 11 games this season

Had a good season a few years ago for club and country but hasn't been prolific otherwise. I remember people being quite surprised about it. Otherwise he's fairly big and strong and can hold the ball up so does fit the profile

I’ve watched him live a few times and he’s bang average
