Deal pending: Player says goodbyes to team-mates after agreeing West Brom terms – reports
Okay Yokuslu has said his goodbyes to his Celta Vigo team-mates ahead of joining West Brom on loan for the rest of the season, according to La Voz de Galicia.
The Spanish news outlet claims that official confirmation of Yokuslu’s temporary move to The Hawthorns is “pending” after Sky Sports Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the 26-year-old midfielder has agreed terms with the Albion.
It is understood that Celta Vigo have shifted over £880,000 off their wage bill with Yokuslu’s temporary move to the Premier League.

Sam Allardyce looks as though he’s finally about to strengthen his central midfield options at West Brom with Yokuslu set to arrive on loan from Celta Vigo.
The Turkey international is a holding midfielder who will hopefully add a lot more defensive steel to what has been a week Albion spine in the Premier League.
Kevin Phillips spoke to West Brom News earlier this week to say that while it’s fine for Big Sam to add competition to his squad, he must ensure that new arrivals hit the ground running in the bid to avoid relegation.
The ex-Albion striker said: “Another body would help for the competition but he has to come in and affect the team right now and it’s always a gamble when he’s bringing in someone who’s never played in the league.”
Yokuslu will hopefully do that.
He’s not someone who’s been sat around doing nothing all season with the ex-Trabzonspor enforcer earning 14 appearances across all competitions for Celta Vigo.
He’s only started three times in La Liga but at least he’s playing and at least you can see what their manager’s plan was for him as more often than not, the Turkish ace was brought off the bench to help see out wins or good draws.
West Brom need someone like that; a nasty middle man who breaks up play and who opponents are scared to come up against.
We’ve never really replaced Claudio Yacob and we think Yokuslu could be that man.
