‘Relegate us now’, ‘Cancel it’ – Many West Brom fans say same thing in response to club tweet
Many West Brom fans are not looking forward to this weekend’s game against Tottenham Hotspur following the recent loss to Sheffield United.
Tuesday’s game was a must-win and Sam Allardyce couldn’t get his side over the line despite taking the lead just before half time.
With the Blades still rooted to the bottom of the table, fans aren’t optimistic ahead of the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to play seventh-placed Spurs
One reason to be optimistic is that we performed very well against Spurs when we met at The Hawthorns earlier this season.
A cruel late Harry Kane goal robbed Slaven Bilic of a valuable and deserved point but unfortunately, those fine margins have defined our poor season.
We will be up against it on Sunday but we are hoping that our deadline day signings can help to inject some life into the performance.
On Thursday morning, the club tweeted a reminder of this weekend’s game and many fans replied to that tweet with their thoughts ahead of Sunday’s clash.
Some said that there wasn’t much point in watching the game while one more optimistic fan claimed that winning on Sunday would be a very Albion thing to do after losing to Sheffield United.
Many Albion fans really aren’t looking forward to this one…
Here is how some West Brom fans reacted to this reminder from the club.
