West Brom ace verbally agrees to exit, 1.5 year contract on the table – report

West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki has verbally agreed to leave The Hawthorns to join Legia Warsaw, according to Legia Net.

The Polish outlet have claimed that although no agreement has been reached between the clubs, with the deal dependant on the finances.

It is suggested that the Baggies could pay a percentage of Grosicki’s wages this season should he leave, with a one-and-a-half-year deal on the table.

West Brom

Grosicki wants to leave West Brom, and Legia are his choice of club.

Numerous clubs are interested, with offers from Nottingham Forest, Schalke, Alanyaspor and Fatih Karagümrük already rejected.

Legia are said to be readying a £15,000-a-week deal for the winger, who could become the highest-paid player in the history of the Polish League.

Grosicki is a huge deal in Poland, not quite on the levels of Robert Lewandowski, but he has made 80 international appearances and would love to return.

West Brom

Sam Allardyce appears happy to release Grosicki, and it looks as though his exit is a matter of if not when at The Hawthorns.

The 32-year-old has started two games since his arrival, but the January activity has seen the winger fall further down the pecking order.

Robert Snodgrass and Ainsley Maitland-Niles can both play out-wide, and Grady Diangana is also on the verge of his return from injury.

It has never quite worked out for Grosicki since his move from Hull, and now would be the perfect time for him to return home and potentially end his career with his hometown club.
