West Brom have received no recent offers for wantaway Grosicki – report

West Brom have received no recent offers for Polish winger Kamil Grosicki following reports that Legia Warsaw have approached Albion, according to Express and Star

Reports from Poland had suggested that Legia were chasing the Poland international on a loan deal.

It seems that despite this reported interest an approach was never made as Express and Star claim that no recent offers have been made for the 32-year-old.

The report claims that Nottingham Forest, who Grosicki nearly joined in the summer, renewed their interest in January but the winger wasn’t keen on the move.

There was also no indication that Legia have actually approached the club as Grosicki looks to secure a move away so he can get regular game time ahead of this summer’s European Championships.

Grosicki had a small renaissance under Sam Allardyce as he has been handed several Premier League starts since Big Sam took the reigns at The Hawthorns.

His Albion career looked all but over under Slaven Bilic but with Allardyce wanting more top-flight experience in his side, reinstating the Polish international into his team was a no brainer.

He has failed to impress however and it seems as though Big Sam would be happy to let the winger leave this month if an offer does come in.

Legia’s transfer window is open until late February so there is plenty of time to sort a move out if all parties want to make that happen.

A question remains over whether the club should be letting players like Grosicki leave as we face a tough battle against the drop.

Every player could have a part to play as Allardyce looks like he still hasn’t figured out what his best team is.

Really, we can’t blame Grosicki for wanting to leave, this season just hasn’t worked out for him.

In other West Brom news, this is why the club pulled out of a move for Ahmed Musa.
