Diangana spotted in training as West Brom handed boost ahead of Man Utd clash

West Brom attacker Grady Diangana has been spotted training with the first team in a video shared to Twitter by the official Albion account

Birmingham Live journalist Joe Chapman reported earlier this week that Diangana was still struggling with his hamstring knock and it was unknown when the summer signing may return.

The 22-year-old has now been spotted in training in a video that was meant to show fans more footage of January signing Okay Yokuslu.

Diangana hasn’t featured for Albion since the 4-0 loss to Arsenal so Sam Allardyce hasn’t seen too much of the man who had every Baggies fan excited upon his return to the club this summer.

It is unknown if Diangana will be ready to play a part in the game against Manchester United this weekend but if he is it will come as a timely boost for Albion.

Despite failing to impress on numerous occasions this season, we all know how good Diangana can be and he is certainly an upgrade on Kamil Grosicki.

West Brom

It has proved impossible to predict who Allardyce may pick to start for Albion these days as he shockly chose to omit Matheus Pereira last week while starting Lee Peltier.

The game against Spurs without our best player in the starting 11 went about as well as you’d expect as we created very little.

If Diangana is fit he has to go straight into the side, a front three of Pereira, Mbaye Diagne and Diangana is probably the best attack we can conjure up at the moment.

We are seriously running out of time in our survival fight and at this point, we have very little to lose.

Big Sam can start that front three against Man United and even if we lose then those attackers may have built up some understanding that will benefit us in the long run.

At the very least, it is good to see Diangana back and training in some capacity.

In other West Brom news, we have a golden chance to win as Newcastle are rocked by triple injury blow.
