Man Utd report embarrassment of options ahead of West Brom clash
Manchester United have an almost fully fit squad to choose from ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against West Brom.
It is sure to be a tricky game for Albion on Sunday with Man United still one of the form teams in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will be hungry for a result following last weekend’s disappointing draw with Everton and the Red Devils boss is spoiled for choice when it comes to team selection.
According to Manchester United, Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly are the only absentees ahead of Sunday’s game with Solskjaer likely to make changes from the side that beat West Ham in the FA Cup through the week.
Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw and midweek hero Scott McTonimay are all raring to go after not starting against the Hammers.
This is quite the contrast to Sam Allardyce’s options ahead of this big game as it seems as though he still doesn’t know what his best team is.
Few Baggies fans are expecting a result this weekend and those few optimists will be reeling after seeing that Man United are going to be almost at full strength.
Solskjaer’s side are still in the hunt for the title and they won’t want to drop any careless points while their city rivals are looking untouchable.
We have it all to do if we are to avoid another loss but even a weakened Red Devils side would give us a run for our money at the moment.
Grady Diangana is the only injury doubt for ourselves but even a miraculous recovery from him wouldn’t be enough to challenge this Man United side.
Hopefully we can just keep the score respectable because we really don’t need another hit on our already appalling goal difference.
In other West Brom news, we have a golden chance to win as Newcastle are rocked by triple injury blow.
