Ryan Babel & Idrissa Gueye respond to West Brom ace Diagne after Man Utd draw

West Brom battled their way to a 1-1 draw against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Sam Allardyce finally appeared to get the message across to his squad, who out-battled the Red Devils at The Hawthorns for the majority of the game.

The Baggies were smart in the January window, and their signings have definitely added much-needed strength in this relegation battle.

Mbaye Diagne has been the standout player.

The Senegalese forward delivered an assist on his debut against Fulham, and finally got his first goal in the 1-1 draw on his third Premier League start.

After two disallowed goals against Spurs last week, it will have been a huge relief to see the ball crash into the net in the opening minutes.

Writing on his personal Instagram account after the game, Diagne delivered this message: “We will continue to work hard till the very end.”

Both Ryan Babel and Idrissa Gueye responded to the message, with Okay Yokuslu also a massive fan of his new teammate after the draw.

Diagne is quickly becoming a fan favourite this season.

The 29-year-old has a great goalscoring record in every league he has played in, and yesterday, he proved he can do it in the Premier League.

Not many had heard of the colossal forward before he arrived, but what a presence he is proving to be, with not many prepared to handle him as he closes in on full fitness.
