View: Predicted West Brom starting XI v Burnley
West Brom travel to Burnley on Saturday for their latest Premier League clash in what is a must-win fixture at Turf Moor.
The Baggies are currently 12 points from safety, and 14 points behind Burnley and a big win could drag them bag into the threat of relegation.
Sean Dyche’s side have seen an upturn in form recently, beating the likes of Liverpool and Crystal Palace away from home.
Sam Johnstone will continue in goal, with his incredible save making sure his side earned that point against Manchester United last weekend.
Lee Peltier started against the Red Devils but was replaced by Darnell Furlong after pulling up injured, and the £18,500-a-week ace should come in from the start [Spotrac].
Conor Townsend, Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley should all continue in defence and will be tasked with fighting the physicality of this Burnley side.
Okay Yokuslu proved he is what the Baggies have been missing this season against United, and the Turkish international will keep his anchor role in midfield.
Conor Gallagher and Ainsley Maitland-Niles will use their energy in midfield to try and disrupt the Clarets and their build-up play.
This is where the big change is made.
Robert Snodgrass and Mbaye Diagne will continue, with the Scotsman able to utilise the physicality of the striker with his perfect deliveries throughout the game.
We expect Matheus Pereira to be dropped once again, with Sam Allardyce finally favouring and cementing the 4-3-3 formation at The Hawthorns.
The Brazilian is forced to play out-wide in that system and his talent could be wasted, meaning that Matt Phillips will come in to help his side keep Burnley.
Should the game stay level for an hour or more, Pereira can then come on and potentially make the game-winning contribution we would be crying out for.
Here’s how we expect the Baggies to start…
