Sky Sports gaffe shows West Brom relegated from Premier League

West Brom are trundling towards Premier League relegation this season, and it appears as though no one can do anything to stop that.

The Baggies faithful are preparing for Championship football once again at The Hawthorns, despite having seen no football this season.

Sam Allardyce has transformed the Albion defensively, but he has been unable to change the fortunes of the club moving forward.

West Brom

Sky Sports shared the Premier League table on Saturday evening as Brighton met Newcastle on Saturday evening, and they have already condemned West Brom.

The graphic, as shared by Gary Taphouse on his personal Twitter account claims that the Baggies have been confirmed as relegated, jumping the gun slightly.

Shocker.

All you can do when watching things like this is laugh. When did we become the laughing stock when the likes of Sheffield United have had one of their worst ever seasons?

With 10 points to catch Newcastle, their defeat as well as Leeds beating Fulham this weekend keeps us within touching distance, but it is the faintest of hopes.

Allardyce will know that his record of keeping teams in the top flight is slowly coming to an end, but the poor form of those around him is only extending the inevitable.

It won’t be long until this news is confirmed, with only one home game in the next four making it an uphill battle, to say the least.

We’ve escaped the impossible before in the Premier League, but this appears to be one bridge too far after a poor run of results.
