West Brom winger Kyle Edwards sends message to Leeds ace Tyler Roberts
Watching Tyler Roberts light up the Premier League recently has become a tough watch for many West Brom fans up and down the country.
Having let the Welshman leave The Hawthorns on the cheap to join Leeds United, there have been numerous occasions where that has haunted us.
We all remember that masterclass at Elland Road in that 4-0 defeat back in 2019, it wasn’t a great watch as the likes of Kyle Edwards consistently misses out.
Roberts has earned his spot under Marcelo Bielsa recently and has posted on his personal Instagram account on Sunday as he edges towards his first Premier League goal.
Edwards has become the forgotten figure at The Hawthorns, but he is still in the comments on the likes of Roberts’ posts on social media.
Let the wrong one leave.
This could be the latest of a long string of transfer mistakes in recent years from the likes of Luke Dowling at the Baggies.
Edwards has never been more than an impact player off the bench during his stint at the club and has never pushed past that to become a regular starter.
The 23-year-old has only started one game this season and has come off the bench four times in the Premier League, but that was under Slaven Bilic.
Edwards hasn’t played since November, and with Sam Allardyce now in control of the club, it appears as though we will be waving goodbye sooner rather than later.
