Four West Brom players send Instagram messages to Filip Krovinovic

West Brom haven’t made the best decisions in the transfer market this season, with the January additions proving that Slaven Bilic got it all wrong.

The Croatian pushed hard for the likes of Filip Krovinovic from Benfica, and despite that one being completed, he hardly featured in the Premier League.

Sam Allardyce replaced Bilic, and within a matter of weeks, he had the playmaker bagging his bags and later joining Nottingham Forest on loan.

The Croatian famously scored against old rivals Brentford over the weekend, and we can’t lie it brought a massive smile to our faces.

Writing on his personal Instagram account, Krovinovic shared images from the game which caught the attention of four Baggies players.

Dara O’Shea shared a one-word response of something that we rarely saw at The Hawthorns in his 18-month spell at the club.

“Wizard,” he wrote.

Wizard?

Of all of the words we could think of to describe Krovinovic from his time at The Hawthorns, it wouldn’t be wizard, possibly more flop.

The 25-year-old made 51 appearances in his spell at the club, with 29 of those being starts mainly in the Championship under Bilic.

Krovinovic scored only three goals and completely looked out of his depth and incapable of nailing down a consistent spot in the side no matter who was in charge.

His first goal at Forest being against Brentford brings back memories of the Championship and two massive rivalries from our times there last season.

With relegation from the Premier League creeping up on the Albion, it could be time to reignite these games, as well as a new rivalry against Krovinovic; let’s hope he isn’t a wizard in those outings.
