Sam Johnstone asks media to edit West Brom question after goalscorers joke

West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has summed up the goalscoring woes of the club this season in the Premier League.

The Baggies stopper is currently away on international duty with England and has been undergoing tonnes of media with that responsibility.

Mbaye Diagne hasn’t been able to plug the void in this squad, and Sam Allardyce has made it clear that the Albion need to score more goals.

When asked who is likely to score the most by Fantasy Premier League on their official Twitter account, Johnstone couldn’t give a clear answer.

“That’s a tough one that,” he joked.

“We don’t score many and you’re asking me questions like that. You’re going to have to edit this bit.

“It’s probably Semi Ajayi, he’s probably the top scorer actually.”

Summed up perfectly.

It must be dreadful for Johnstone to watch this squad every single week.

Whilst the keeper is pulling over saves left, right and centre, he is having to watch the Baggies struggle to create anything; and when they do, they fluff their lines.

The Albion have kept the least possession in the entire division according to WhoScored, with the least shots on goal as well.

The clock is ticking on West Brom’s time in the Premier League, and that may not be the only sacrifice facing the fans, and we may need to wave goodbye to Johnstone too.

Leeds and Spurs have already been linked with a move for the stopper, and he may not need to put up with this dreadful attack ahead of him for much longer.
