Gary Lineker mocks West Brom on Twitter in HT swipe v Leicester City

Gary Lineker has taken a swipe at West Brom during their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Thursday evening.

After an upturn in fortunes in the past month, it all came tumbling down at the King Power with one of the worst performances of the season.

The Foxes were three goals to the good at half-time, as Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho all scored in the opening 45 minutes.

Lineker, a well-known Leicester fan, took to his personal Twitter account to mock and swipe at the Baggies kit and performance.

“And it’s three after yet another Kelechi Iheanacho goal,” he wrote.

“West Brom in their colourful away kit have been twisted inside out thus far.”

Rub it in.

Mr Walkers has some cheek making a food-related joke about the Albion, but the worst part about it is that we have no defence after that shocking display.

Where has the passion and drive disappeared too? We saw none of that on show this evening against the Foxes.

Embarrassingly, a Twister’s Ice Lolly may have had more defensive spine in this spring-heat and that is where the problem lied.

Big Sam will have been fuming with what he saw at the King Power Stadium, and there will have been some stern words shouted in the dressing room during the break.

If we want to survive, we can’t be the laughing stock, and that is how this performance has come across so far; not good enough.
