West Brom block Premier League proposal for Liverpool & Manchester United

West Brom have blocked a Premier League proposal to move their fixture against Liverpool, according to the Telegraph.

Manchester United saw their fixture with the Reds postponed over the weekend after fans broke onto the pitch at Old Trafford in protest of their owners.

They now face three games in one week, but they attempted to rearrange the schedule of the Baggies to help their own.

It is suggested that the Albion were asked to push their game with Liverpool to midweek to make room to rearrange their game at Old Trafford.

With the Baggies needing to win every single game remaining to stay in the Premier League, we need to do it on our terms.

Giving us a potential disadvantage is not acceptable, and although we aren’t giving ourselves much chance, we need it on our own terms.

Liverpool can wait, how many games Manchester United are playing in one week simply doesn’t make a difference to us.

West Brom

Right decision.

You can’t expect the Baggies to just roll over when the so-called bigger clubs want their own decisions making to benefit them.

Sam Allardyce has previously confirmed that the Premier League rejected a proposal to move the fixture against Aston Villa earlier last month.

If that wasn’t allowed, why would this game between Liverpool and Manchester United be any different? It was their fault it was called off.

There has to be consistency, and just like in the games, it appears as though that is seriously lacking throughout the league.
