Robert Snodgrass posts Instagram message, John Terry & Gabby Agbonlahor respond

West Brom midfielder Robert Snodgrass has delivered a message after undergoing surgery that ended his Premier League season.

The Scotsman has missed out on months of action, and will be playing in the Championship the next time he is on the pitch at The Hawthorns.

Snodgrass has been flooded with messages, before admitting that he is already looking ahead to next season for the Baggies.

Writing on his personal Instagram account on Thursday afternoon, Snodgrass shared a message to his followers, to which Gabby Agbonlahor and John Terry responded too with well wishes.

“Been a tough time but the Operation went well, looking forward to next season,” he said.

“Thanks for your messages of support.”

Villa connection.

As much as we dislike Aston Villa, they have been part of Snodgrass’ past and he had much more of an effect there than here so far.

It does prove that the Scottish midfielder can have a huge impact in the Championship, as he played a massive part in their promotion push.

Big Sam or whoever is in charge next season will be hoping for the same again, as we look set to lose most of our midfield options that were on loan.

Given that this was a serious back issue, it will take some time for Snodgrass to return.

We’re crossing our fingers that he can be back for pre-season over the summer, and recover fully for that opening day clash in the Championship.
