Charlie Austin to leave West Brom as early as next week – Journalist
West Brom forward Charlie Austin is edging towards a permanent move to Queens Park Rangers, according to Sean Gallagher.
The Baggies veteran has been with the Championship club since January and looks to have played his final game at The Hawthorns.
Austin has previously admitted his desire to leave the Albion since moving to his former club, with his chances limited under both Slaven Bilic and Sam Allardyce.
TalkSPORT journalist, Gallagher has shared the major update on his personal Twitter account, claiming he could leave as early as next week.
“Queens Park Rangers aiming to tie up a permanent deal for Austin by next week,” he wrote. “Everything in their favour right now.”

Good riddance.
This is only the first permanent exit of the upcoming summer, and we are expecting many more to follow once the window opens.
Austin knew he was going to be leaving permanently as soon as the loan deal was sealed, and he has made no secret of that.
With our relegation to the Championship confirmed already, it will be an interesting meeting with the London side and Austin.
It would be typical Albion for the big-money forward to find the back of the net against us next season and rub it in our faces.
We need to start transforming our squad, and the first move of this will be Austin leaving the club and saving us funds in terms of wages.
