Xu Ke set to release major West Brom statement on manager hunt – Journalist
West Brom Chief Executive Xu Ke is set to release a major statement on the ongoing manager hunt on Monday evening.
Express and Star journalist Joseph Masi shared the update after it was released that Luke Dowling had left the Hawthorns by mutual consent.
Dowling was one of the key figures hunting for Sam Allardyce’s replacement, although a number of names have come and gone already.

Writing on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon, Masi shared the major update as the search continues.
“Huge news coming out of Albion as Luke Dowling leaves by mutual consent,” he wrote.
“You could argue his role had become untenable with it understood the former technical director wanted Chris Wilder as boss.
“Chief Executive Xu Ke will later release a statement on the manager search.”
Embarrassing.
The Hawthorns is simply a circus at this moment in time, as this ludicrous search continues into June.
China influences are sticking their noses in, and that was made clear when Chris Wilder looked set to take over before that move being cancelled.
Wilder would have been the perfect man, but Guochuan Lai thought otherwise, despite every Baggies fan being outraged by the decision.
Things got worst today, as Dowling decided to leave and Michael Appleton turned down the job – could it get any worst?
Xu Ke has a lot of explaining to do, and we look forward to this statement that will most likely make us even more of a laughing stock.
