Aston Villa sign West Brom talent Triston Rowe

West Brom have lost yet another emerging talent to Midlands rivals Aston Villa, this time in the form of England Under-15 star Triston Rowe.

That’s according to online platform Rising Ballers who, with over 500,000 followers on Instagram, as well as over 70,000 YouTube subscribers, are one of the UK’s fastest rising channels dedicated to young football stars.

They are known to break news on some of the hottest talent in the country, a recent example of which can be found last week when they were first to report that 16-year-old Peterborough United forward Adler Nascimento was set to join Crystal Palace, hours ahead of the Daily Mail.

After recent reports claiming Albion youngsters Finn Azaz and Tim Iroegbunam were set to leave for Villa, it seems another one has been been sealed.

Rising Ballers wrote via their Twitter account on Friday evening [23/07/21]: “Aston Villa have completed the signing of West Brom & England U15 Triston Rowe.”

There has been no official confirmation from either club yet, but Rowe has updated his Instagram bio with Villa’s handle in it.

Villa breeding ground

Here we are again, with Villa swooping in for our young talent again.

The aforementioned Azaz and Iroegbunam are reportedly set to exit for Villa Park, or more like Bodymoor Heath in the latter’s case, though those deals have not been formally announced yet.

However, this deal looks to have been completed after Rowe updated his Instagram bio to confirm that he’s an Aston Villa player now.

There may not even be an official announcement regarding this deal given his age and the fact it’s not a major transfer.

But there will still be Albion supporters fuming that Villa has plucked yet another talent from our academy.

We all know the Louie Barry story, but Rowe has gone direct to our Midlands rivals.

It looks like they won’t stop until they’ve cherry-picked the best crop of youngsters.

In other West Brom news, this Albion star’s reps have held talks with a Premier League club.
