Al Hilal’s reported £12.8million bid for Brazilian attacker Matheus Pereira has drawn fury from a number of West Brom supporters.
According to ESPN journalist Joao Castelo-Branco, writing via his personal Twitter profile on Tuesday evening [27/07/21], the Saudi Arabian club have tabled an offer for the 25-year-old, but Albion want £30million.
Pereira is said to be considering a proposal from Al Hilal, so they look to have made an approach to player and club.

We asked our panel of West Brom Super Fans what they thought of the reported offer.
Here’s what they had to say…

Anything below £20million is, quite frankly, insulting for a player of Pereira’s abilities.
He was directly involved in 17 Premier League goals last season, so he has shown his worth in one of, if not the, most demanding league in Europe.
The Brazilian is at a good age and would be a terrific signing for most sides in the top-flight, so Albion might just need to wait it out a little longer for one of them to make a bigger bid.
A Premier League side should certainly have the money to make a suitable offer for Pereira, and we must ensure we are not bullied into accepting a derisory sum.
We’re resigned to his exit this summer, but let’s at least get a big sum to reinvest in the current squad.
