Kieran Gibbs sends message to Matheus Pereira after viral plea
West Brom will have been stunned on Monday evening as Matheus Pereira finally broke his silence on social media.
The Brazilian hit back at claims he wasn’t committed but did admit that he wants to leave the club this month.
Pereira insisted that he has received life-changing offers in the past three weeks and that he would love to experience that.

Interestingly, not many of the current Baggies squad even acknowledged the letter as they prepare for the season opener at Bournemouth on Friday.
One with Albion links who did reply was Kieran Gibbs on Pereira’s official Instagram account late last night from America.
The left-back finally got rid of his gigantic wages from the Hawthorns over the summer with a move to the MLS, and appears to support his former teammate.

Bad as each other.
The sooner Pereira is shown the exit door, the better.
Gibbs’ career at The Hawthorns won’t be remembered fondly, and the way Pereira is going about things, his won’t be either.
Of course, he has done some magical things for the club, but as soon as you down tools and show traits such as this, the exit door is better.
Having said that, the Albion need to make sure they recover a good chunk of money, and that leads to them making more than double what they spent to make his move permanent.
This pressure could see the price drop as Pereira tries to force an exit, but with multiple years left on his contract, the ball is thankfully in our court.
Gibbs is somewhat the forgotten man after his shocking last couple of years, but it will be hard to forget someone of Pereira’s talents in a hurry – no matter how he leaves.
