Matheus Pereira breached West Brom contract this week
West Brom will have been left stunned on Monday as Matheus Pereira looked to force his way out of the club.
Penning an open letter on social media, the Brazilian admitted that he has received a life-changing offer from an unnamed club.
The Athletic has shared a major update on Pereira after the letter, insisting that he has breached his contract at The Hawthorns.
Steve Madeley has reported that negotiating with clubs when a fee hasn’t been accepted by the Baggies is not acceptable.
Despite all of this, the Albion are standing firm.
It is suggested that £30million would get the deal done, but that may be slashed to £25million if the money is guaranteed.
Madeley did claim that it is unlikely that Pereira will be punished for his actions, though, with such talks frequent in the modern-day.

Valerien Ismael doesn’t look like a man who will accept behaviour like this, and is said to have been unimpressed by his training performances.
Pereira will not be used in the Championship this month, and may not be used at all throughout the season if he remains at the club after the window shuts.
No offers have been made from Premier League clubs, and Al Hilal continue to offer embarrassing amounts of money that will never be accepted.
This is the time for Ismael to prove himself, and the Frenchman is sending a message to the rest of the squad that behaviour like this is simply unacceptable.
We love Pereira for everything he has done, but when you refuse to play and show shocking attitude such as this, you simply have to leave.
