Valerien Ismael confirms Sam Johnstone talks with West Brom
Valerien Ismael has confirmed one major piece of West Brom team news ahead of the Championship clash with Luton.
The Baggies boss has shared that Sam Johnstone will start the game, replacing David Button in between the sticks.
Not only that, Ismael confirmed the news that the England international is in talks over a new deal at The Hawthorns.

Joseph Masi of the Express and Star was at the press conference and shared the news on his personal Twitter account.
This news will no doubt leave the Albion fanbase buzzing ahead of our second clash of the season.
“Val Ismael just held his pre-Luton press conference,” he wrote.
“He’s confirmed Sam Johnstone will start tomorrow and the goalkeeper is in talks with the club over a new contract.”
Bring it on.
Wow, this would be an inspired move.
Johnstone only has the one year left on his current deal, so there would be nothing to lose by trying our luck with this.
It will likely include a small release clause should we miss out on promotion this season, but that is better than losing him for nothing.
Ismael was right to keep faith in Button after pre-season, but he did make a couple of mistakes at Bournemouth and will be back on the bench.
The former Brighton man did arrive as an experienced backup option, and he will return to that role already tomorrow afternoon.
