Confirmed West Brom starting XI v Arsenal

West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for the Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

The Baggies have been struck by a COVID-19 crisis this week, with a couple of faces testing positive and now isolating.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, Valerien Ismael has been forced to drop the entire starting XI and make that many changes too.

This is the perfect opportunity for those on the edges of the squad.

Ismael doesn’t have the deepest of squads to work with to say how intense his style of play is, and that could haunt us further down the line.

Matt Clarke is already sidelined for a prolonged period of time, and any more of those injuries may not help our cause.

West Brom

This is the perfect time to face Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s men are in disarray and given the confidence in our squad, we could really pray on that this evening.

With The Hawthorns rocking as it was against Sheffield United last week, the Gunners may struggle to cope.

Having spent so much money to lose your opening two games in the Premier League without scoring and conceding four, you can understand the frustration.

Time to go out and do the business, we can’t wait to hear to roar if the evening goes to plan for the Albion.
