West Brom want to sign Troy Deeney before Tuesday deadline
West Brom want to sign Watford attacker Troy Deeney before the transfer deadline on Tuesday evening.
The Express and Star journalist Joseph Masi has shared that the Baggies are intently watching the senior forward.
Watford confirmed this week that with one year remaining on the senior forward’s current deal, they are rethinking his future.

Writing on his personal Twitter account over the weekend, Masi shared the update as Valerien Ismael hopes for one more signing.
“Sources telling me Albion are amongst the clubs monitoring Troy Deeney’s situation at Watford,” he wrote.
“He’s also being heavily linked with a move to Blues.”
Competition.
Birmingham are also in the race, and with Deeney being a boyhood Blue, they may have the upperhand.
Having said that, our near rivals are going nowhere anytime soon, and the Baggies are surely one of the favourites for promotion.
Surely, Deeney would prefer a move to The Hawthorns and one last promotion push to the Premier League rather than letting his career slowly waste away with Birmingham.
Kenneth Zohore is also reportedly being shown the exit door, so he may need to leave first but expect movement very soon.
It is time to finish off this window with one more major singing, and that could be exactly what Deeney is before Tuesday evening.
We all remember that iconic playoff goal, and Gianfranco Zola recently labelled the striker as “incredible” and hopefully he can fire us in the top-two.
