West Brom waiting to hear news on Dara O’Shea’s injury
West Brom are still waiting to hear the outcome of Dara O’Shea’s scan after he was forced off the field in the Republic of Ireland’s game against Portugal.
The 22-year-old appeared to injure his ankle against Portugal and had to be withdrawn, and now the Baggies face a nervous wait to hear how bad the injury is, according to the Express & Star.
O’Shea has played in all five of the Baggies’ league games and has averaged a 7.73 rating from WhoScored as well as scoring two goals.

Could O’Shea be out for a long time?
The centre-back did appear to be in quite a bit of discomfort when he left the pitch during that match for his country.
However, it could prove to be a minor injury, or it could turn out to be something quite serious; we just don’t know.
Given that Matt Clarke is currently injured, we hope that O’Shea is fine and can contribute to West Brom’s games in the near future.

However, if it is bad, then the Baggies’ squad could be stretched to its limit, especially given Valerien Ismael’s preference for playing three at the back.
So, now we wait and hope that O’Shea’s ankle is fine because otherwise, the Baggies will be left with limited centre-back options until Clarke returns.
