Rayhaan Tulloch could return for September 24 game v QPR

West Brom could be handed a selection boost in a couple of weeks as Rayhaan Tulloch may reportedly return to the fold ahead of the QPR clash.

According to Birmingham Live, due to Tulloch’s groin injury sustained against Arsenal in August, he could potentially return for the September 24 game.

The same publication quoted Valerien Ismael speaking about his injury. He said, “Rayhaan…it’s his groin, so he’ll miss another 10 days maybe more.”

Need him back

Given the Baggies’ growing injury concerns, they would welcome any player who’s returning to full fitness.

Tulloch may have been one of the better players in West Brom’s embarrassing 5-0 defeat against Arsenal, so we’re expecting him to push for a regular spot in Ismael’s squad this season.

The 20-year-old thus far has just played a solitary minute of Championship football this term but could become a vital bench player once he’s back to full fitness.

With Baggies’ potential lack of depth out wide, Ismael could unleash the Englishman and give him a bigger involvement in his first-team plans.

Games against QPR never tend to be easy and while we don’t think he should or will start it, having a player with his energy on the bench is always a welcome boost.

Hopefully, if and when he comes on the Baggies will be cruising to a win and he’ll be handed a few minutes just to warm himself up ahead of a tricky run of fixtures.
