Gary Weaver stunned by West Brom moment v QPR

West Brom came from behind to finally earn a huge win in the Championship against Queens Park Rangers after three draws.

The Baggies didn’t make it easy though, going behind inside one minute and leaving it late to find the winner.

Gary Weaver was on live commentary and was stunned by Karlan Grant as he smashed home his second and the winner at The Hawthorns.

Speaking on Sky Sports during live coverage of the clash, Weaver was thrilled as Grant smashed home a flowing move to take all three points.

“It’s a goal that has class written all over it,” he said.

“And it’s a goal that may just settle this game, West Brom stamping their authority all over this contest as they look to make their presence felt.”

Class.

If the first goal was luck, there was nothing that Seny Dieng and his defence could do as the Baggies tore them open.

It was a brilliant flowing move into the final third, and the finish was emphatic, something we have rarely seen from Grant during his time here.

Valerien Ismael will have been delighted with his sides determination after it looked as though we would have to settle for yet another disappointing point.

There have been some fans questioning the methods after the past three draws, but this win puts the Albion back on top in the Championship and no one can complain about that.

Hopefully, this gives Grant all of the confidence he needs in the world to go on and start finding the net more regularly, it would make him a serious weapon.
