Morgan Rogers spotted at West Brom training ground to watch U23s play Stoke City
Former West Brom winger Morgan Rogers has been spotted watching the Under-23s at the club’s training ground on Monday.
The second-string side, mainly made up of young players but with Kenneth Zohore and Cedric Kipre handed starts, drew 1-1 against Stoke City in their Premier League 2 [Division 2] encounter.
Mo Faal opened the scoring for the home side in the second minute before Douglas Taylor equalised in the second half.

There was a familiar face in attendance to see the young Baggies move to within three points of Fulham in their quest for promotion, as The Athletic’s Steve Madeley shared via his personal Twitter profile.
“Morgan Rogers among the spectators here alongside a windswept Pitch four,” he said. “Presumably catching up with some old West Bromwich Albion mates.”
One that got away?
Rogers was in the news during the summer as he made a big move from Manchester City to Bournemouth, initially joining on a season-long loan with an option to make it permanent for around £9million next year [DorsetLive].
It is a transfer that is of huge significance to West Brom as the club are due to net a windfall should the deal become permanent in 2022 [Daily Mail].
Albion included a sell-on clause when they sold Rogers to Manchester City in 2019 after two appearances for the first team.
He has yet to play for the Premier League giants, but he shone on loan at Lincoln City last season, scoring six goals in 25 League One outings.
Rogers is yet to get on the scoresheet for the Cherries but there’s no doubt that he would have been an exciting option for Valerien Ismael this season had he ended up staying at The Hawthorns.
It looks like he still has huge affection for the Baggies, though, as he was seen cheering on some old teammates on Monday.
West Brom chiefs may be cheering him on over the coming months as they look for an extra boost to their 2022 summer kitty.
In other West Brom news, Steve Madeley shared the moment that this Albion player irked Valerien Ismael last week.
