West Brom man Jayson Molumby sends message to fans

New West Brom man Jayson Molumby wants the fans to back the team against Fulham on Saturday.

The Baggies face the Whites in a huge clash near the top of the table that could go a long way to determining who finishes in the top two by the end of the season.

Speaking to the Express & Star, the 22-year-old sent out a rallying cry to the fans ahead of the match at Craven Cottage.

He said: “Our home form the last few now has been quite good and the supporters are massive to that with the atmosphere.

“I think it’s important us as players and as a team, we make the Hawthorns a difficult place to come. We’ve done that the last few games, so to have them coming all the way down and packing out the away end will be brilliant and definitely help us.”

Rallying call from Molumby.

The Baggies are unbeaten at home this season, but they have lost their last two away matches, so we can see why Molumby has asked for support from the fans.

The Republic of Ireland international speaks well here, and it is clear that he is expecting a big atmosphere on Saturday against Fulham.

If the Baggies can leave west London with a point or even three, then that would be a big result for Valerien Ismael’s side, but they need to be better than their last two away trips.

If they play as they did against Stoke City or Swansea City, then the Baggies will be in a world of trouble and will struggle to take anything from the game.

However, they have blown a few sides away in this campaign, so the question is can they replicate that form at Craven Cottage?

Molumby sounds relatively confident, so we will have to see what they deliver on the pitch.
