Confirmed West Brom starting XI v Fulham

West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for the Championship clash against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Valerien Ismael has welcomed back the likes of Jake Livermore after his suspension saw him miss the win over Bristol City.

Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Baggies looked to have dropped Jordan Hugill and Jayson Molumby.

The Baggies have since corrected that line-up, with Hugill starting the game and Callum Robinson being dropped back to the bench.

Alex Mowatt is the big absentee once again.

The former Barnsley man has been struggling since the defeat at Stoke City, and it looks as though he is being given the time to recover.

It has been mixed fortunes since his injury, with that win over Bristol City coming after the disappointing defeat at Swansea.

Jayson Molumby and Robert Snodgrass shined last week, but changes were always expected with Livermore returning.

Having that experience in the heart of midfield could be critical to picking up three points in such a tough trip to Craven Cottage.

West Brom

Must win?

After defeats here and there in recent weeks, picking up some sort of consistency will be the main goal for Ismael and his squad.

Beating those closest to you is always the best way to cement your place in the automatic promotion spots, with the Championship race as wide open as ever.

Three points against Fulham would catapult us back into second and create a real gap to fourth-placed Coventry and those around the play-offs ahead of this afternoon’s kick offs.

Ismael will want his side to prove they can pick up wins in huge games such as this one, and that should be the message to the squad – bring it home lads.
