Kevin Phillips: Callum Robinson could replace Matt Phillips for West Brom v Fulham
We’re delighted to welcome former West Brom striker Kevin Phillips as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Hawthorns…
Kevin Phillips has insisted that West Brom attacker Callum Robinson could return to the starting XI against Fulham this afternoon.
The Baggies travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday for the huge top-of-the-table Championship clash looking for another three points.
Phillips believes that Jordan Hugill and Karlan Grant will both start, meaning it would be Matt Phillips to drop out for Robinson.

Speaking exclusively to West Brom News, Phillips said, “You can’t second guess Ismael.
“You’ll say something and he’ll go and do something completely different. It wouldn’t surprise me if Robinson came back in, I don’t think Diangana will.
“I think he’ll go with Hugill, he’ll definitely start – the other two, Karlan Grant has to start, so it’s just that one place.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Robinson.”

All out.
Naming Hugill, Grant and Robinson in the same side would be a really attacking line-up for the Baggies.
That could work in our favour though, with Fulham wanting to keep possession and build from the back – having three strikers up there could ramp up that pressure on the ball and cause mistakes.
Robinson has been in and out all season, and with Hugill and Grant both scoring last time out against Bristol City, they will likely remain.
The Irishman will be desperate for a start, and Ismael unleashing him at the right time could be critical to picking up three points this afternoon.
Fingers crossed this is the right time.
