West Brom player ratings v Fulham: Furlong, Snodgrass shambolic

West Brom faced a humiliating 3-0 defeat against fellow promotion contenders Fulham on Saturday.

Aleksandar Mitrovic continued his unreal goal-scoring run, bagging a hat-trick against the Baggies.

The Baggies players were disappointing and ended the game with ten men after Darnell Furlong was sent off.

Here’s how we rated the West Brom players at Craven Cottage:

Sam Johnstone 4

Despite constant efforts to play out from the back, the Englishman did not looked confident at all. He did not seem to communicate well with the defenders ahead of him.

Semi Ajayi 4

Lost most of his ground duels and made some needless challenges throughout the game. Had a hard time dealing with the pace of proceedings.

Kyle Bartley 5
Had a decent outing there, but players around him kept making errors and he faced the brunt for their lapses.

Matthew Clarke 3
Made some shocking passes and defensively he was all over the place. His free kick from just outside the penalty area almost handed Fulham their third goal in the 63rd minute.

Darnell Furlong 2
Capped off a horrific game with a silly last-man challenge to get sent off. Was ineffective both with and without the ball. This was an unacceptable performance from a first-team regular.

West Brom

Jake Livermore 5
Tried controlling the tempo to the best of his abilities and was one of the Baggies’ better performers

Robert Snodgrass 2
Starting him in back to back games was always going to be a risk and it proved to be precisely that. He played a shocking pass to the opposition to set up their second goal scored by Mitrovic.

Conor Townsend 7
Was arguably their best player on the night and clearly looked a class apart from some of his teammates.

Matt Phillips 6.5
Had a good outing against Fulham and was unlucky not to score. Decent game and one he would be pleased with on an individual level.

West Brom

Karlan Grant 5
Lost possession too frequently and was rightly subbed off in the 73rd minute. He’s had better games for the Baggies.

Jordan Hugill 5
Cut an isolated figure up front and the lack of support he received was embarrassing. He could’ve done more to get involved in the play but unfortunately, did not.

Subs

Grady Diangana 4

Jayson Molumby 5

Callum Robinson 5
