David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Hull City

David Prutton has backed West Brom to return to winning ways in the Championship against Hull City on Wednesday evening.

The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 2-0 to the Baggies as they return to The Hawthorns.

It was a tough pill to swallow going down 3-0 at Fulham, but the Albion were at the heart of their own downfall for the majority of the clash.

Writing in his Sky Sports prediction column this week, Prutton believes Hull could be the perfect opponent for the Baggies right now.

“West Brom have some right to feel a little aggrieved by the way Fulham took the lead at Craven Cottage on Saturday, but overall it would be hard for Valerien Ismael to say they deserved to take anything from the game,” he said.

“This is a good chance for them to get back on the horse, as Hull are in no sort of form at all.

“It’s been four defeats on the bounce for Grant McCann and his side, and he needs to do something drastic to try and turn things around. That turnaround is unlikely to be coming at The Hawthorns, though.”

Must win.

There are simply no excuses to not walk away with three points tomorrow.

Valerien Ismael will have been getting stuck into his squad all week, and demanding a response after some of the embarrassing football we saw on Saturday.

Yes, the officials ruined the game at Craven Cottage, but the second and third goals were simply shocking on our behalf.

We managed to bounce back emphatically after losing at Swansea, and now it is time to do exactly that once again.

The Baggies need consistency, though, and must use this as a platform for another one of those huge unbeaten runs that we started the season with.

Bring it on.
